Sponda owns altogether 126 office and retail properties (31Mar 2012), containing a leasable area amounting to 780,044 m². About 65 per cent of the office and retail premises is situated in the Helsinki Business District and in Ruoholahti, Helsinki.

 

On 31 March 2012 the net operating income of the office and retail properties amounted to EUR 24.1 million and the fair value of the properties was EUR 1.7 billion.

 

Sponda modernizes properties and carries out systematic maintenance of properties so that it can offer its customers high quality, modern business premises.

Leasable area of Sponda's shopping centre properties amounts to 157,306 m² (31Mar 2012). The properties are located in Finland in Helsinki, Ylöjärvi and Kempele. The net operating income of the shopping centre properties on 31 Mar  2012 was EUR 8.1 million and the fair value of the properties was on 31 Mar 2012 EUR 585.7 million.

Sponda is one of the largest owner and lessor of logistics properties in Finland. Sponda's 51 logistics properties, covering a total leasable area of 534,588 m² (31 Mar 2012), are located mainly in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

 

On 31 Mar 2012 the net operating income of the logistics properties were EUR 7.4 million and the fair value of these properties was EUR 448.7 million.

 

Sponda's objective is to utilize its undeveloped sites and existing unused building rights. New sites are developed in pace with customer demand. Sponda also develops existing sites by renovation, refurbishment and additional construction.
