I work as an Account Manager in Sponda's team for Central Helsinki. My responsibilities include managing customer relations in my area as well as the commercial development and profitability of my properties.

 

The property portfolio I am responsible for comprises about ten properties in Central Helsinki. My primary objectives are having all the properties fully occupied and ensuring that the clients

who operate in them are satisfied with their premises. 

 

I joined Sponda back in 2006. My job has remained interesting despite the fact that I have held the same position for several years. Changes in the property portfolio and new customer contacts have kept things fresh. My work also involves additional challenges in the form of various projects related to the properties, which give me the opportunity to keep learning new things.

 

Through the years I have learned to know the customer base well, which has given me a deeper understanding and appreciation of the meaning of my work. The most satisfying part of my job is interacting with customers. I try to stay current on the operations and development of my client companies to serve them as well as possible when their needs related to their business premises change.

 

Managing my duties requires active interaction with a broad stakeholder network, which has grown extensively through the years. Having a familiar and reliable network of stakeholders makes my own job easier. The network comprises not only clients, but also property managers, contractors, architects and real estate agencies.

 

I see my role as similar to that of the conductor of an orchestra, being responsible for the functionality of the properties and ensuring that my clients' affairs in terms of their business premises are in good shape. When the orchestra is in sync, there are no problems or disruptions related to business premises and my clients can focus fully on their core operations.

 

I am pleased to work at Sponda. I enjoy being part of a professional organisation that has ample high-level expertise in the property sector. I appreciate the backing we get from the support organisation, as it allows me to focus on my clients and fulfilling their needs.
