Shopping Centre Manager Timo Matinlompolo:
I work for Sponda as the
Shopping Centre Manager for the Tampere region and I am in charge of the commercial management of Elo Shopping Centre in Ylöjärvi. My work involves close cooperation with the shopping centre's tenants' association and marketing team.

Prior to joining Sponda, I worked with projects in the field of daily consumer goods retail, mainly focused on retailers' change processes. Eventually I began to look for new challenges and Sponda's job opening for a Shopping Centre Manager piqued my interest as it offered a combination between my previous work experience and career objectives at that time.
I received a warm reception at Sponda and everyone at the company has always been there to help when needed. My job description has met my expectations and I have found the challenges I was looking for in my role in getting the shopping centre up and running. It goes without saying that I have really enjoyed my time here.
Managing a shopping centre is very challenging. I encounter new interesting and challenging things in my work on a daily basis. I consider this job to be very rewarding and I feel it helps me grow as both a professional and as a person.
The thing I appreciate most about Sponda is the high standard of how things are done. Tenant and stakeholder relations are managed with professionalism and class. The company's organisational culture guides us in doing the right thing from an ethical and moral standpoint.
