Sponda and WWF Finland are partnering to promote energy efficiency
and the environmentally responsible use of commercial properties. The aim of the partnership is to implement environmentally friendly practices in Sponda’s own operations and to promote environmental responsibility among Sponda’s clients and in the property sector as a whole.

As a responsible property owner Sponda makes it a high priority to take the environmental impacts of its properties into consideration both in the early stages of projects and later when the property is in use. The partnership with WWF Finland supports awareness of environmental perspectives in the company’s operations.

Sponda highlighted environmental expertise as an important part of its strategy in the autumn of 2009. Together with its clients, it strives to find the best environmentally friendly practices that are also in line with the clients’ environmental goals.

Sponda is one of WWF Finland’s main partners. Sponda’s head office is also part of the WWF Green Office network. The objective of the Green Office programme is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the ecological footprint of the office.

WWF Finland is part of the international WWF network that promotes increased natural diversity and the reduction of man’s ecological footprint.
