Sponda buys properties in Helsinki Metropolitan Area for EUR 26 million Finnish real estate investment company Sponda Plc has purchased a 58% ownership stake in the shares of Kiinteistö Oy Heimola at Yliopistonkatu 5, in the centre of Helsinki, from Oy RealInvest Ab for EUR 19.5 million. The contract price will be paid one year after the date of acquisition of the property, i.e. 30 June 2007. Sponda’s ownership stake covers the retail and office premises of Floors 1, 2 and 3 of the property, plus the basement which has, for example, restaurant premises. Part of the office premises of the Heimola property will be developed and this renovation will lead to a significant improvement for example in the functionality and accessibility of the business premises of Floor 2.
Sponda has purchased an office and warehouse property at Hannuksentie 1 in Suomenoja, Espoo for EUR 4 million. The property's leasable area is 3,753 m², and the plot includes an unused building rights of 2,058 m². The site is fully leased, and the proeprty was completely renovated in 2003.
In addition, Sponda has purchased a 3,200 m2 logistic and retail property at Henrik Forsiuksen tie 39 at Suutarila, Helsinki, from the office fittings company Pa-Ri Materia Oy for EUR 2.4 million. The property, which was built in 1988, is fully leased. Sponda Plc
