“There is still some vacant office and retail space on the first floor. It would be ideal for a sales or expert organisation that wants their premises to make a strong impression on the customer,” Autio says. 

The property will have its own reception services and a direct lift connection to the indoor car park as well as employee facilities for bicycle commuters and the bicycle storage room. Two meeting rooms for the property’s users will be built next to the lobby.

This synergistic relationship works both ways. By bringing in more than a thousand people, the office and retail property will provide the shopping centre with a source of new regular customers, and the visually striking building will also be a modern addition to the shopping centre in terms of architecture and its public image.

MOW’s space as an extension to the tenants’ own offices

The tenants of Ratina Offices will also benefit from the added value created by the coworking space that opened at the shopping centre in November 2018. Created by Sponda, the Mothership of Work (MOW) is the first genuinely community-oriented coworking concept of its size in Finland.
