Organization and governance
Sponda Plc is a public limited company registered in Finland with bonds listed on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. With regards to decision-making and administration, the Sponda group complies with the Finnish Companies Act and other legal provisions governing limited liability companies and issuers of securities as well as the Company’s articles of association. In addition, Sponda complies with the European Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and the Insider Guidelines of Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd.
As required by the Finnish Companies Act and Sponda’s articles of association, control and governance of the company is divided between the shareholders represented at General Meetings, the Board of Directors and the President and CEO. The President and CEO is assisted by an Executive Board.
Sponda's business operations are divided into five business units: Office Properties, Shopping Centres, Coworking, Property Development, and Property Investments.
